My Journey from Disability Check to Online Income at 65
When I broke my back in 2011, I thought my working days were over. I wasn’t retired by choice, but rather by circumstance. A disability check from the government became my main source of income. It was barely enough to live on, let alone think about saving for the future. For a long time, I accepted that this was how it was going to be.
In 2014, I attempted affiliate marketing. To put it bluntly, I made exactly zero dollars. Nada. Zilch. It was frustrating and disheartening, so I quit before even getting started. Fast forward to today, I’m back at it with a whole new perspective and some handy AI tools at my disposal.
Rethinking My Approach
I used to believe that only tech-savvy young folks could make real money online. That myth shattered when I met a fellow Knoxville local who turned things around in his 60s using just a laptop and some new tech tricks.
